Stanleys QuarryStanleys Quarry, is set in the heart of the Cotswolds. We have been processing natural stone from our own resources for over three hundred years. Despite this, we still have access to hundreds of years worth of Oolitic Limestone, and we are also able to source stone from all parts of the United Kingdom. Within the last decade we have invested heavily in plant and machinery making Stanleys Quarry one of the best equipped limestone processing facilities in the country. The quarry was first used during the 1600's when our Bed 2 was extracted. This Golden Yellow Stone was used mainly within our local area, the delightful village of Chipping Campden being the best example. The stone was also exported as far a field as the Windrush Valley where it was used as masonry detailing to contrast beautifully with the lighter stones of that region.

We pride ourselves on being able to deal expertly and efficiently with our clients whose needs will vary from multi-build housing developments, commercial offices to replacement of one particular precise dressed stone during restoration. The quarry itself has been worked, for over 300 years but within the last decade has seen extensive capital investment and improvements resulting in the operation we proudly have today. We have at installed on site the latest in computer controlled stone cutting technology housed in three buildings. Each production line is set up to maximize efficiency and is housed within its own building. Our Tiling production is unique in being the only one in this country to be housed under one roof, enabling us to effectively control production and capacity.
