This large country house was completed in 1999 using Stanleys Quarry Bed One.

The spectacular Geometric Staircase is constructed from the same stone as the Floor. Slate Cabochon inserts are used in the floor to add an air of formality.

The outside also utilised the same stone and these photographs illustrate how our stone weathers in different conditions. The Ashlar Loggia, where protected, has retained its crisp cream colour.

Modern building rules dictate that the double storey Mullion Window actually covers a steel frame. Click on any of the photographs to see a larger version

This house was completed more recently using Guiting stone. Stanleys Quarry supplied all of the Building Stone and the Architectural Detailing

Again in all the pictures the natural contrasts of the stone shows well alongside the traditional design. Rear of House.jpg (44612 bytes)

Our client specified a natural limestone bathroom and we were able to produce the whole package, the floor tiles, splash backs, stone shelves and shower enclosure. The natural warmth of the stone is complimented by the lighting and the selection of colours used.
