This large development in Bath was constructed using Elm Park and Monks Park Stone, both local sources of stone. The development was in completed in two construction phases. The contemporary looking phase uses the same stone as the more traditional development facing a road. Traditional design and construction was detailed in order for the building to compliment it's surroundings. Our standard height coursed building stone formed the plinth. This recent development of sheltered housing occupies a prominent position at an entrance to a Cotswold Town.

Guiting Stone was used for the coursed building stone, and it was also used for the architectural detailing of the dressed stone. These components included amongst others the quoins, 45 degree quoins, window heads and cills. Again a traditional design was used allowing the new development to sit alongside other buildings within the town, with the new building showing the benefits of using stone from Stanley's Quarry.
