| Ashlar is smooth sawn six sides and hand rubbed stone use to build a wall. These pictures show how Ashlar has been used on two developments.
The stone of this standard is generally laid on a 2mm or 3mm mortar bed. Block sizes are up to 450m long by 300mm high and 100mm thick although Stanleys Quarry can produce any size limited only by the size of quarry block.
